As an expert film photographer I learned that digital is very different but the same. Also that many of the selections on my camera are basically useless for my needs. Just set the dial on "M" and go from there just like film.

The beginner class ended up being a one on one experience. Mai was great and helped refresh my memory about shutter speed and aperture settings. She taught me things about my camera that I didn?t know. I will never shoot on auto again. I also enjoyed visiting Cheesequake park as I had never been there.

This photo was taken a few years ago at Central Park, NYC. Two people, complete strangers to me were sitting on the rocks enjoying the view and each other. I had already taken a few photos of them looking at the view and they turned to each other for a kiss and I was able to capture that moment.

I took this shot at sunrise. Sunrise is my favorite time to be out in nature taking photos. I'm actually a Chef by profession but over the last few years my creative passion has turned from food to what I experience out in nature. I happend to take this one with my google pixel 7.

The picture was taken on the season opening of Allaire Village. It was late in the day and most of the events for the day had already taken place and the village was fairly empty. The two bunnys look as if they are taken a well deserved rest in the afternoon sun after entertaining children all day. I hope if any one decides to purchase one they purchase both, they seem to belong together. Camera Olympus OM 5 with 12 -45 pro lens. Not sure about question regarding posting, I posted as a re

Flamingoes are kept indoors during the winter months but on this occasion a shaft of sunlight from a window revealed the beautiful colours of these birds. Their heads are always bobbing up and down so composition is difficult and focusing on the eye of the main subject is essential.
